Working for Minneapolis based design studio ROLU was a formative experience in open practice design.
I will continue to work across multiple disciplines such as woodworking, welding, landscaping, art, and architecture.
My involvement in this project was to provide SketchUp models and 3d renders for the proposed interior of the Upton Restaurant. This project was never built, however the rendered interior perspectives of the building were useful tools to discuss with future clients. Working with SketchUp and Visualizer, I was able to quickly make changes and substitute furniture layouts, materials, and lighting possibilities. The plan I proposed for the front of the restaurant included radiant white walls, plywood furniture, and timber rafters.
